DJ’s Towing and Hot Shot Services is a proud Northern owned and operated business that was founded in 2002. Hard to believe it’s been 15 years. We are committed to providing prompt, professional and clean recovery services in Yellowknife where our home is and all throughout the Northwest Territories.
You and your vehicle are our priority, which is why all our trucks have wheel lifts and tilt decks to ensure damage free towing.
DJ’s Towing started in 2002 providing 24hr Emergency Towing Service with a single wrecker and one truck for ice road hauling. In 2003 we began to expand our light duty towing by adding a flat deck. Since those days, we have expanded greatly through our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We now operate 23 trucks and in 2015 we purchased our tandem 35-ton wrecker which was the first of its kind in the NWT.
We have seen and towed it all, including a stunt plane and a 35-foot sailboat. You don’t see that every day….
Our company works closely with the City of Yellowknife, RCMP and Sheriff department to handle vehicle towing, recovery and vehicle accident clean-ups and storage. We have also been a long-time service provider to major roadside companies and vehicle dealers for local and long haul tows to Edmonton, AB of vehicles without a dealership in the NWT.
Over the last 5 years we have raised the bar with our service offering. Through demand and the lack of available services we have added several additional services to help better serve our community. From bobcat services and job shack moves we aim to please and would be happy to hear about any project you need help with.
